Calendula Oil

Calendula Oil is the gentlest product in the entire Ananke line. It is made with an infusion of calendula flower petals macerated in a base of vegetable oil. It contains no essential oils or any other ingredients. It is purely a maceration of the calendula flower. This oil is highly soothing and healing, ideal for especially sensitive skin.

It is very suitable for cases of redness, flakiness, or problematic skin in general. It is also well-suited for the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Additionally, it is indicated for conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. In the case of dermatitis or flaking on the scalp, it is recommended to apply it directly onto the scalp and leave it on for several hours (or, if possible, overnight). Afterward, it is ideal to wash the hair with nettle solid shampoo.

Main Properties of Calendula Oil:

Calendula oil is a potent anti-inflammatory that is particularly effective for relieving inflammation and skin irritations. To achieve maximum efficacy, it should be applied consistently, at least once a day. It is a very soothing oil, perfect for irritated skin and redness. For example, it can be used after hair removal to calm the treated area or to soothe diaper rashes in both children and the elderly.

It is very suitable for sensitive and delicate skin. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, making it perfect for dry or very dry skin. Thanks to its high content of tocopherol, vitamin E, and other vitamins, it provides the necessary nourishment to achieve a hydrated and luminous dermis.
